The above is the contacts detail screen of the emaddy2
database program. Note that it has 6 tabs - parts. The screen
showing is a readout screen that shows many of the details. This screen
does not allow data entry, but the other five screens do after pressing "add
new". Edit can be done directly on an existing record on the other five
tabs.

Note the arrow keys on the upper left (<<-- for
example). Use arrow keys to get to other contacts for editing.

Note the gray buttons such as "Display Name" on
the first tab readout screen. These buttons will put the info
that is shown to the right on the computer clipboard. Then to
use the information without retyping, place your mouse cursor in
another windows program where you wish to "paste" the information,
and use "shift" and "insert" to past the information without
retyping it.

Editing (on other tabs) is done directly – once
a new contact has been saved. Edits go straight to the database.
No save needed

When adding a new record with “Add New” or when
editing, be sure to follow the right format for each data type.
For dates, use the fomat: "mm/dd/yyyy" where m = month,
d = day, y = year. For time use either the format: "2:43:04
PM" or its simpler version that does not give seconds: "2:43
PM".

The “Contact Info” tab can allow you to set
next meeting date- that can be shown in “Calendar”.

The Filter ("Filter Off" button near the top
right) can allow you to just go from one type of contact to the next
one in that type using the left upper arrows.

ALWAYS use “Add New” (button in the upper
middle) to add a new contact.
