emaddy2 database software is ideal for usage by multiple
users. Business contacts can be put into both the contact manager and also
into the general memory "Membank" area. Some parts may be desired to be
changed for multiple users - such as family or friends contacts or calendar or
task items i n which case emaddy2 can handle that also. Emaddy2 allows up
to 10 profiles for each install. How does one keep one section or several
sections such as business the same between the profiles and other items such as
family and friends contacts different for the profiles? Easy.
emaddy2 has a merge category that allows you to merge just the portions of
databases that you wish. So you can update one part of the database, but
keep another part personal and set up just for you - using "merge" and checking
the right boxes to suit your tastes.
Licenses
rpsoft 2000 software licenses are on a "per user" basis.
The good news with this is that you as a single user, can install it on several
computers if you are the only user of the software. For example some
people use a desktop computer at home, but travel with a laptop. In this
case, if you are just a single user, you can install it on both. If you
only update oneor the other at one time, simply copy the database profile you
are using from one computer to the other. That database will be called
"emaddy2.mdb" for the general and main profile, or will be called "em2_name.mdb"
where "name" in that last file is the name you gave the profile. In the
event that you modify both your laptop database and your desktop database at the
same time, use "merge" to merge the parts you wish, or even all the database
sections if you wish.
For multiple users - meaning more than one single user.
You can copy the program and allow its usage to other members of your family or
business group if you purchase seperate licenses for the additional people.
These licenses are only $5 per added person, but you must add at least 2 at a
time. This is because Therefore you can add 2, 3, 4, ,5 or 25 users at one
