DOES GOD EXIST?

DOES GOD EXIST?

This is perhaps a primary question of humans since humans began to think. And yet, after thousands of years, are we really further along to an answer?

Unlike perhaps some other information, this book does not begin with the answer and then try and argue it. No. This book begins with as much of an open mind as I could muster and then first looks at "what is it we humans seem to think we know?" And that leads by itself to some odd things... at least in my opinion. I find that since humans do not often think in terms of serious topics that we have not even established good base lines to question what we are not yet certain of. This means that we are not even asking the right questions many of the times. After all, we are now in the 21st century. We should not be arguing things that made more sense to argue perhaps in the 19th century or earlier.

As I wrote that last part, I worry that some will think I have a conclusion in mind and one which I will try to push on the reader. Not at all. The answer of whether or not God exists cannot be proven or disproven by Science, in spite of what some people may tell you. However, what Science can tell us, when combined with logic, is how to view such an important question - with at least information that we humans now know. And so you might disagree with my "opinion" at the end, and that is fine. However, I feel it is most important that we all think about important things, and also take into account the information that we already seem to know. And when we do those things, we might end up saying and thinking things that few others humans seem to.

Book Logic Sciece God and Human Intelligence   Book Logic, Science, God, and Human Intelligence

In this book I tried to explore how far Human Intelligence has come, and how far logic can take us beyond that. And my approach was with an open mind trying to be free from at least the normal ideologies that surround us daily. What I found surprised me. Not the answer ... but that many times we are simply asking the wrong questions. We know now more than we used to. Science has gone far. We know a bit about Science and the Universe even though there is much more to know. Regardless of what we believe and wish to believe, we should at least get our thinking and our discussions into the 21st century. Some of the old arguments on all sides no longer seem to make sense, at least to me, when we view them with our 21st century logic. Is this book meant to convince you of anything? No. That would make it just another ideology. The purpose is to do much the opposite ... to get the reader to think about things that perhaps they never thought about before, but armed with at least human intelligence. And then... the new thinking may surprise you ... as it also surprised me at times.
