Stairs? One of the first
problems I faced in another structure, something called a
low-prim beach house, was how to get from the first floor to the
second floor. In the case I had, the answer seemed that an
avatar had to float up. That was not always as easy as one
might think.
At one time I used a ramp, like the one one to the left.
While it worked somewhat, it took space and one could fall off.
Since then I have picked up teleporting code and now use in my
house and in the house kit that I sell to easily go from floor
to floor. You can even use this teleporting code to get
into your front door and exit through it also.
I have purchased a number of doors. Some work okay and
some do not. I just like teleporting now. Much
simpler. |

Skylight? In the first
photo at the start of this article, you no doubt noticed that
the roof was solid end to end and had shingles on it.
Well, that is true - from the outside. But once again we
used our transparency texture as a picture to place on the
bottom of the roof, allowing full visibility to the stars and
planets. Yes, the picture on the left really was a picture
as we simply look through the roof of the mansion.
