| HOT TABLE In the game of Blackjack, the term "hot table" means a blackjack table where the players are winning more than they are losing. For card counters, it may mean that certain cards have now fallen and the cards in the deck are now more favorable to the players - at least until the next shuffle. So a card counter would say that a remaining favorable deck to players would make for a "hot table".
