The file name scrambler works by a word that you supply
(letters, not numbers) such as "testname" in these examples.
The file names in the directory are scrambled using that code
word that you supply as a "seed". Of course, there is also
an "unscramble" option from filemod that reverses this.
And of course - do not forget your codeword for scrambling.

Note that Filemod only scrambles the file names, to make the file
names less inviting to the wrong onlookers. Filemod does not
scramble the data in each file also. Links to similar file name change applications of filemod are given
